Farewell music lovers and regular lovers. The time has come for me to desist this hunched-monkey position at a desk and start sewing cushion covers for the rocking chair, assembling a crib, and putting the bags of hand-me-down onesies in drawers. Actually, the time to do that was probably a few weeks ago but I've been banking on this "due date" thing actually coming to pass.
The words "Labour Day weekend" will ring extra-true if my doctor's estimation is correct. Stay tuned for a Last Night's Gig of epic proportions once Baby Edwutz and I are home from the hospital and able to type! (Me, not the wee one. I'm not putting that kind of pressure on my kid 'til (s)he's at least six months old.)
