Last week Scott Pilgrim vs The World hit theatres, causing many Torontonians to wonder if the movie (set and shot in Toronto) would increase tourism.
Many people travel the globe to relive their favourite moments and visit legendary locations associated with movies, tv and music. A great example is the small town of Forks, Washington, population 3120. Since the launch of the Twilight book series, which is set in the town, tourism has gone up 600%! From Lebowski Fest, to Graceland to photo ops on Abbey Road, pop culture landmarks are quite an attraction.
Where have you been? What places are on your list?
