Personally, running for political office is not something I'd wish upon most people. It's a lifestyle beyond my understanding with too much scrutiny. You've got to fight for what you stand for, and keep fighting. And it helps if you're charming, articulate and have a trusting face. My politically charged Aunt would always say such things as, "He's got a good face, I's vote for him".
A discussion erupted around the office today about what Canadian musician would make a good politician. Who will we see dressed in a blazer one day preaching the good word and vouching for our votes? Joel Plaskett could make a great mayor in my books; I'm just sayin'.
