The Breakfast Club makes its humble return to Toronto today, but to a new place! I'm bringing all of us to La Hacienda on Queen St. West for a morning meal with one of my favourite rock 'n' roll bands, C'mon! Sir Ian Blurton is an indie-rock legend, both for his work in Change of Heart and his role as a producer for people like the Weakerthans and Amy Millan among many, many, many others. He and Katie Lynn Campbell are the founding members of the pounding force of nature that is C'mon, and they continue their reign as one of the greatest live bands in the world. C'mon's new album is also their best; it's called Beyond the Pale Horse and I have five copies of it to offer the first bloggers who correctly answer questions I pose about today's show. Listen to win! And to be rocked!!!

Are you a fan of C'mon? Any plans to check them out live soon or pick up Beyond the Pale Horse?

I have five copies of Beyond the Pale Horse to give away to the first listeners who can correctly answer the following questions about today's show on the blog:

1. Who convinced Katie Lynn to start playing music?

2. Ian started out as a drummer and he actually used to play drums in Cowboy Junkies. What prompted him to stop playing drums and switch to guitar?

3. Who is gonna make C’mon a delicious meal if/when they get to Newfoundland?

4. What inscription did Dave Bidini tell Ian and his cronies to tag a wall in Toronto with?

5. While Katie and I rely on fancy gadgets to keep our lives in order, what does Ian use to keep track of C’mon’s upcoming tour dates?

The answers to these questions, and possibly other questions, will turn up on today's show. If you end up being the first person to post a winning answer on the blog, please e-mail vish_khanna [at] cbcradio3.com with "C'mon Get Happy" in the subject line, and your blog moniker and shipping address in your message.

Ever eaten a particularly memorable breakfast in Toronto? What makes it stand out?
