Hey folks! I'm Chris Berube, and this week I'm sitting in as a listener co-host during The Craig Norris Hour. On the show, you'll hear Craig and I exchange witty repartee over the course of four (seemingly endless) hours. Also, we'll be playing some music!
Though I am not a prolific contributor to the Radio 3 blog, I've been a listener since high school, and I host my own radio program, Electric Boogaloo, which airs on the community station in Toronto, CIUT. Each week on my show, I interview musicians from Canada and abroad. Among the highlights, I've been hugged by funk legend George Clinton, been yelled at by party rocker Andrew WK, and tried to mediate a fight between Woodhands and Danko Jones. It's been, to say the least, eventful. You can actually listen to all of the interviews I've done for the show here.
This week's playlist doesn't really make a lot of sense on the whole - there are some choices from bands playing at next week's Halifax Pop Explosion, and a few 'wayback' tracks from great Vancouver artists, like P:ano and Veda Hille.
