"Put Your Hand in the Hand" is a song that was originally recorded in 1970 by Anne Murray, but has gone on to see many more incarnations.

Written by P.E.I. musician Gene MacLellan for Murray's album Honey, Wheat and Laughter, the song has been covered by the likes of Elvis Presley, Donny Hathaway and Joan Baez, to name just a few.

Starting now, you can add an East Coast all-star band to that list, which includes Rose Cousins, Old Man Luedecke, Ben Caplan, Mo Kenney, Paper Lions, Dylan Guthro, Repartee, Reeny Smith, the Sanctified Brothers, the Xara Choral Theatre Ensemble and CBC's own Tom Power.

You can watch the star-studded performance above, which was shot at the historic Granville Mall in Halifax, and is in celebration of the 25th annual East Coast Music Awards, taking place Sunday, March 10.
