A half-century before Justin Bieber started posting videos to YouTube, another Canadian teenage sensation emerged from Canada to take the pop world by storm. Starting his performing career as a 12-year-old in 1953, Ottawa's Paul Anka had recorded his first single in Los Angeles and catapulted to the top of the pops by the age of 16. Over the next 55 years, Anka established himself as one of Canada's greatest pop exports, writing and recording such hits as "My Way," "Diana," "Put Your Head on my Shoulder" and "She's a Lady."

His latest release, Duets, is a collection of his songs, recorded with a star-studded cast of singers, including Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Michael Bublé, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Patti LaBelle and several others. Duets also features a new Anka composition called "Find My Way Back to Your Heart."

CBC Music has the complete album for you to listen to for one week, ahead of its April 9 release (pre-order the album on iTunes here). The stream below also includes an exclusive video, in which Anka tells us about working with Sinatra.
