Bruce Springsteen is offering his Australian fans behind-the-scenes photographs that reveal some aspects of his life on tour, over the course of his career.
A photo exhibit is happening right now at the Blender Gallery in Sydney. It's called 'From Darkness To Dream', and it runs until April 20.
To celebrate the exhibit (check out a couple of shots on this page), we thought we'd share this awesome video of Bruce performing a few songs on the streets of Copenhagen, back in 1988.
He plays 'I'm on Fire', 'The River', and 'Dancing in the Dark', and the video is well worth a watch for Bruce alone: the performances are powerful and stripped down.
But if you need another reason, you've got to see the street performer who plays with him. Talk about energy. This is a guy who knows exactly how exciting it is to be playing with the Boss, and doesn't miss the opportunity to get into it.
As for the Australian exhibit, it features photographs from Frank Stefanko, Danny Clinch and Lynn Goldsmith, including a few cover shoots (and alternate photos that didn't make the cut), as well as shots of Bruce and the band on the road, and some of the Boss's favourite vehicles.
'From Darkness To Dream' is timed to coincide with Bruce's Australian 'Wrecking Ball' tour, currently underway. Check out more photos at the Blender site.

The tour marks Bruce's first time in Australia in 10 years, and some more cool photos might come out of it, if videos like this are any indication:
