Oh my goodness, golly gee, it's time for another round of scenes from our very own A CBC Radio 3 Christmas Carol, which debuted last week, right here on the What'cha Readin' Book Club. Scenes three to five are coming up on the air! Can you feel the excitement? Can you taste the egg nog? If so, hopefully you're having egg nog because otherwise, that's freakin' gross.
Last week, Buck 65 was an unstoppable narrator,  Ebenezer Vish was lamenting his slacker colleagues at CBC, and was paid a visit by Tariq Hussain, who urged Vish to stop and smell the roses every once in a while. Also, the phrase, "Once you go brown, you come back around" was utilized in a salacious manner. What's gonna happen this week? Only one way to find out! Ask me to e-mail you the script. Or sure, you could just listen to today's show too. There are two ways to find out.

Also this month, we're reading, Barney's Version, by the late Mordecai Richler in anticipation of the upcoming premiere of the big Hollywood film version. I still have some pairs of movie passes to some screenings to offer you guys. If you or someone you know can get to Toronto on December 16th or Halifax, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Victoria on January 5th to attend a screening, please keep an eye on the blog comments below. At some point I'll be asking a question or two there and the first people to answer them correctly on the blog, win!

Hey, did you win a pair of passes to see the film adaptation of Barney's Version? Well then, please e-mail vish_khanna [at] cbcradio3.com with "Vish's Version III: The Search for Spock" in the subject line, and your blog moniker in your message.

Have you been enjoying our R3 adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol? Is it making you LOL, BRB, MILF or whatever else the kids say outside our window, late at night in the summer time when we're just trying to get some peace and quiet, y'know? Stupid kids with their weird words. Otherwise, what'cha readin'?
